The missionary challenge in Africa!
In early Christian era the world's population does not exceed three hundred million people. She reached today more than six billion and is growing. This exponential growth is observed in the countries of Africa.
Hence the need for field harvest and the urgency of sending the workers after their training. As population movements are increasing and they are amplified, they create new opportunities to reach people with the gospel. Among other rural exodus, migration of population growth worldwide, the number of refugees, further studies abroad.
Note that in some countries, hostility vis-à-vis Christianity evolves. The missionaries must be prepared to face hardships and even persecution. Add to this the increasing poverty that defies the missionaries. They must be compassionate toward the poor and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Mat 28:19, God asks us to proclaim the gospel to the nations towed to all the tributes to all ethnic groups.
Also, Christians must be animated by a burning desire to win unbelievers to Christ, to see the lost peace with God. One raison of the mission is also to see churches grow and multiply and the Kingdom of Christ progress.
For this, we urge Christians, churches, groups and Christian organizations, to pray more fervently, to look beyond their own in their concerns and to support missionary activity by both the sending of gifts of 'worker on the ground.
Look up and see the fields are already white for harvest.
